There are 14 en-suite bedrooms at Burton Farmhouse which are all individual in size and decoration but have similar facilities.
Bedrooms are located on the first floor, accessible by stairs or a
chair-lift for the less mobile whilst the remaining 4 rooms are on the
ground floor. Many of the rooms have views over the surrounding
5 bedrooms are suitable for couples to share, with a double bed and larger seating/dining area.
Facilities within bedrooms
bedrooms have an en suite bath/shower room and are fully furnished.
Furniture provided in each room includes a single or double bed,
wardrobe, chest of drawers, chairs, table lamp and mirror. A television
is provided in every room and tea/coffee making facilities are
available (subject to a risk assessment). Bedding, bed linen and towels
are all provided and changed on a regular basis.
All rooms are centrally heated and have a call system fitted in case of emergency. All taps are thermostatically controlled fitted to ensure that residents
can't burn themselves.
Long-term guests are
encouraged to bring personal items to personalise their rooms and make them
feel at home and extra furniture may be brought (by prior arrangement only).
All bedrooms may be locked by the clients, but care assistants have a master key for safety (providing the key has been removed from the inside).
As well as the private bathroom
facilities found in all bedrooms, there is also a wheelchair-accessible
toilet and shower room on the ground floor, and a bathroom on the first
floor with a bath chair-lift.
