ALL THREE COTTAGES CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE

Stay for a week or two in one of our self catering cottages here in the heart of the lovely South Hams of South Devon. Our pretty cottages are next door to each other and located only a few minutes walk away from Burton Farmhouse and Garden Room Restaurant, in the village of Galmpton. Parking is available outside the cottages in the lane.

Dairyman's Corner, Shepherd's Rest and The Creamery are all traditional cob & stone cottages offering comfortable and relaxing self catering accommodation. Only one mile from the pretty fishing village of Hope Cove and three miles from the famous sailing haunt of Salcombe, they are the perfect base for exploring the nearby sandy coves and the beautiful surrounding countryside. 

Guests are welcome to visit the Garden Room Restaurant for hearty, farmhouse breakfasts, evening dinners and afternoon cream teas. The Retreat Lounge Bar is also open to self catering guests. Prior notice is required for both breakfast and dinner reservations.

Dairyman’s Corner: Recently refurbished in traditional style for family holidays – there are 3 bedrooms and a sofa bed sleeping 2-7 people. Large family bathroom with shower over the bath.Click here for more photos

Shepherd’s Rest: Renovated in country style with 2 bedrooms and a bed settee in the lounge to sleep up to 6 people. Family bathroom with shower over the bath. Click here for more photos.

The Creamery: The newly renovated cottage; The Creamery, can sleep up to four people in one double en-suite room, and additional sofa bed downstairs. En suite bathroom with shower over the bath, toilet & wash basin downstairs.Click here for more photos.

For larger groups Dairyman's Corner and The Creamery have an inter-connecting door to make one larger cottage, for bookings of up to 11 people.

All cottages have a fully fitted kitchen (with dishwasher, washing machine & fridge/freezer), dining table and comfortable lounge area (with freeview television & DVD player). They also have spacious fenced gardens complete with garden furniture, perfect for enjoying the surrounding countryside or for children to play.

All bed linen, duvets, pillows and bath towels are provided. A cot and highchair is available on request.
