Burton Farmhouse Deposit and Cancellation Policy for Self Catering Accommodation

 

 

There is a charge of £25.00 per week to cover recycling, water and refuse collection. Electricity will be charged by a meter reading

Dogs are welcome at a charge of £20.00 per week, per dog.

 

In order to secure any booking at Burton Farmhouse we require credit card details.

No fee is charged to your card apart from in the following circumstances –

- On departure you have the option to settle your bill by cash, cheque with guarantee card or by an alternative debit or credit card. If you leave without settling your account the card used as confirmation will be used.

- If you cancel your booking more than four weeks before your first nights’ stay, we will then endeavour to re-let the accommodation but we do take a £25 administration charge.

 - If you cancel your booking less than four weeks before your first nights’ stay then we take the full cost of your first night’s stay. If we are unable to secure an alternative booking then charge 75% of the cost of the accommodation reserved for the full stay.

 - If you leave before your due date of departure, you will be liable for 75% of the remainder of the cost of your booked accommodation.

 - If we are unable to carry out the booking due to any unforeseen circumstances then we will endeavor to find alternative accommodation.

 

The credit card number also acts as a Damage Waiver deposit. When the cottage is cleaned on your departure, if there is no damage to the cottage or its contents, the inventory is complete, and no extra cleaning is required then we will destroy your credit card details. However if there is a problem then you will be notified and charged.
